She was beautiful,

smiles,
laughs,
friends,
all the while knowing.

for once not knowing,

or feeling her pain.
I loved her.
And I'll never get to tell her so.

Sighing once again, he slumped into his chair; the same one he'd sat in the first day he met Sherlock Holmes, the first day he'd come to their soon-to-be-shared flat at 221B Baker Street, the first day he'd saved the same Sherlock Holmes. So much for saving.
